Richard Edginton
General Manager Mining
Mr Edginton is a mining professional with more than 25 years of operational and technical leadership experience across Australia and West Africa. As one of the Founders and Directors of Junction Contract Mining & Consultancy (JCM), he has led mine planning, fleet selection, contract mining tenders, project development and operational support for numerous mining projects, with a strong focus on gold operations throughout West Africa.
Mr Edginton’s senior mining leadership roles include Mining Manager at Mineral Resources’ Wodgina and Mt Marion Operations, Mine Superintendent at Capricorn Metals, Technical Services Superintendent at Downer EDI Mining, Mining Manager at Consolidated Minerals, Mine Technical Service Superintendent at Glencore (MMO), Project Manager at Iluka Resources and Senior Engineering roles at Sons of Gwalia.
Mr Edington has extensive experience in gold mining operations, contract mining, mine development, tender preparation and evaluation, operational management and project delivery. He is recognised as a practical and commercially focused mining professional with a strong track record of improving productivity, reducing costs and leading large multidisciplinary teams across a range of commodities including gold, nickel, iron ore, lithium, mineral sands and chromite.
Luke Stacey
Project Director
Mr Stacey is an accomplished metallurgical professional with more than 20 years of experience in the gold sector. His expertise spans scoping studies, definitive feasibility studies, detailed design, construction / field engineering, commissioning and optimisation. He has delivered over 15 projects from feasibility through to execution, with the large portion being in West Africa.
Mr Stacey’s extensive project management experience includes work in Ghana, Burkina Faso, Mali, Côte d’Ivoire, Mauritania, Senegal, South-East Asia, South America and Australia. Recently, he served as Design Manager for the Goulamina Lithium Project in Mali, Northern Star’s 28.5Mtpa KCGM upgrade at Kalgoorlie, and the Kobada Gold Project in Mali.
Mr Stacey has undertaken various roles through his career including Principal Process Engineer, Study and Project Management, Engineering Management, Site and Commissioning Management roles and senior management roles as technical director. He has worked for leading engineering firms Lycopodium Minerals, Primero and Ausenco.
Ting Xu
Chief Financial Officer
Ms. Xu is an accomplished finance executive with nearly 20 years of experience across the mining and resource sector, with a strong focus on gold operations and international project development. Her expertise spans the full mining lifecycle, from gold project exploration and feasibility studies through construction, production, and transition of corporate ownership changes.
In her previous position as the CFO of Tietto Minerals, she played a key role in supporting the development, constructing the financial model for a wide range of project financing solutions and optimisation of the Abujar Gold Project in Côte d’Ivoire. Prior to joining Tietto Minerals, she held senior finance roles in mining houses Consolidated Minerals and IGO Limited and corporate accounting firm Grant Thornton.
